Formerly I was a Solution Architect with Red Hat, where I worked primarily with emerging technologies. Before joining Red Hat I worked at MITRE, had my own company, and did a lot of running in the Army. Now I am bringing Metalvisor to the commercial market.

With more than 30 years’ experience marketing technologies to the government marketplace, Smith was the senior vice president, general manager of public sector at Red Hat. Smith has previously served as vice president of government operations at VERITAS. At Netscape Communication, Smith led sales for its state and local organization. He has also held leadership positions within Oracle and Unisys Corp, and is now on the Board of Directors for Mainsail.
